Yeni Chacón joins JW Marriott Bogotá as new Executive Chef •


Bogota Colombia.- JW Marriott Bogotáa luxury property operated by Real Hotels & Resorts that is part of the portfolio of 31 extraordinary brands of Marriott Bonvoyannounced today the appointment of Yeni Chacón as new Executive Chef.

Chacón, a talented and award-winning Colombian chef with extensive international culinary experience, has left an indelible mark on various restaurants, hotels and gastronomic projects. Her experience is highlighted by harmonious fusion of Latin cuisine with French techniquesdemonstrating versatility and innovation in the culinary arts.

In his new role at JW Marriott Bogotá, Chacón faces the exciting challenge of creating an exceptional culinary experience that raises the standards of gastronomy with a focus on creativity, quality and service excellence. Yeni will lead the culinary offering of the hotel’s three restaurants: NAU, The Market and Circusas well as the gastronomic initiatives in cateringbanquets and room service.

With an outstanding career in the gastronomic scene, Yeni Chacón has left her mark in various internationally recognized hotels and restaurants, in which she led the development and execution of pioneering culinary proposals, in addition to supervising daily operations in banquets, pastries and services and control of food costs.

Yeni Chacón has been the recipient of various international recognitions, including the title as ‘Best Young Chef’ in the Chaine Des Rotisseur Colombia competition in 2006 and an outstanding fourth place in the competition’La Mondiale Young Chef’ in Adelaide, Australia, in the same year.

The new executive chef of JW Marriott Bogotá is Graduated in Cuisine of the Seine and has a degree in Food Processing Technology from the same educational center. Additionally, she earned a degree in Food and Beverage Cost Control in Hotel Establishments from the Externado de Colombia University, as well as training in ISO 22000 Food Safety, health and nutrition, among other topics.

With his appointment, JW Marriott Bogotá reaffirms its commitment to culinary excellence and the delivery of unforgettable gastronomic experiences. The incorporation of Yeni Chacón promises to push the hotel’s culinary proposal to new heights, consolidating its position as a gastronomic reference in the Bogotá hotel scene.
