MIAMI, United States. The hotel chain Karisma Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement of understanding with the Punta Bergantín Trust, to develop a project with 300 rooms and a water park.
The project will include restaurants, bars, meeting spaces, wellness, health and fitness facilities, swimming pools and areas for social activities and other amenities.

He explained that it is “an innovative initiative that combines condominiums and a hotel, designed especially for families, with one of “our globally recognized brands.”
Feliz assured that this development “will capture the unique essence of the beautiful region of Puerto Plata, with a solid commitment to offering unforgettable experiences to our guests,” and contribute to the social and economic development of the Punta Bergantín area, in Puerto Silver.
He defined this investment in Punta Bergantín as “an authentic testimony of our commitment to the growth and promotion of tourism in the Dominican Republic, both nationally and internationally.”

This initiative explains the Punta Bergantín Trust “has a comprehensive development approach and proposes to host at least 4,500 new hotel rooms, 2,000 residential and mixed-use tourist units, a golf club, public access beach clubs and the creation of a unique thematic village in the region, as well as a film studio and an innovation center.”
This project, the agreement states, “pays tribute to Puerto Plata as the first tourist destination in the country, and recognizes this region for its contribution as a leader and pioneer in placing the Dominican Republic as one of the first tourist centers in Latin America. and of the world.”
