Punta Cana, RD.- The experienced national banking executive, Deyanira Pappaterrra, has been promoted to the important position of “Vice President of the Tourism Business Area” of the Reserve Bank Dominican, since it recognizes his great work in favor of the entity and the tourism sector, which allowed Banreservas to become a leader in this business segment.
Deyanira Pappaterrra held the general direction of Tourism Business at the Reserve Bank since 2014, financing important projects and investments, highlighting those great contributions to the growth of the sector by entities such as ASONAHORES, thanks to the close relationships with the main national and international actors of the industry.
Experience and skills
Pappaterrra is a professional with more than 25 years in banking, she has a degree in Marketing from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo and an MBA from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She has a specialty in Credit and Risk Analysis and Management from UNIBE and Florida International University, as well as training in leadership and customer service from Barna Business School.

Recognized as “Outstanding Woman for her contributions to the Dominican Tourism Industry”, by the Association of Inbound Tour Operators of the DR, and “Exceptional Professional working for the development of DR Tourism”, awarded by the Caribbean Tourist Board.
For two consecutive years, he won the important THEMAG AWARDS recognitions for his constant work in the national tourism and hotel investment sector.
She was part of the conference “The Power of Women in Ibero-American Tourism” organized by the tourism media Soy Caribe, in which influential women from the markets of Spain, Portugal, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica and Cuba participated.
